Meet Cedric Jungpeter, New to Teva's International Markets Team

During our 120th year anniversary, we are celebrating our employees and welcoming some of the newest hires to our team.
Cedric Jungpeter is Director of Corporate Communications for Teva's International Markets, a business division representing 27 countries. Cedric joined Teva in 2021, bringing over 20 years of experience as a communications leader in wide variety of businesses. With international experience, having previously worked in London, Amsterdam and Brussels, Cedric moved to Tel Aviv only a year ago, where he works out of Teva's Headquarters.
"I wasn’t just looking for a job; I was looking for a company with a purpose," Cedric says about his decision to join Teva. "Teva has such a positive disruptive impact on the healthcare industry, providing affordable medicines to so many people worldwide. At Teva, I feel we are all working toward the same common goal – making a difference for patients."
Despite the challenge of joining the organization during the COVID pandemic, Cedric describes Teva's culture as very welcoming from the start. "I like the culture, it is positive and constructive. Lots of collaboration and people are very friendly and helpful."
"I have no prior experience in pharma, so there is a learning curve. I really enjoy the international aspect of my work where I encounter people from so many different cultures."
Besides his day job, Cedric has found meaning in joining Teva's Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG). When he was hired, in his organizational announcement he mentioned that he moved to Tel Aviv recently with his husband.
"Including 'my husband' in my announcement was enough to draw the attention of other Pride ERG members and they quickly invited me to join the ERG leadership team and take over the communications role."
"Being a part of Pride ERG gives me the opportunity to meet new people and get to know them in a different light. There is always a lot going on at Teva so the ERG is a great outlet to do something positive in addition to my day-to-day work."
