Diversity & Inclusion: It’s about all of us valuing each of us

Empowering our diverse employee community and creating an inclusive culture is both a business imperative and an opportunity to bring us closer to our patients, partners, and communities. Teva employees embrace a diverse range of experiences and perspectives that connect us to new insights and opportunities, while building a more inclusive culture for all.  We strive to enable a work environment where all employees can feel engaged and know that they are making an important contribution to improving health and making people feel better.

To that end, we have an inclusion network comprised of ten employee resource groups (ERGs) that are designed to foster greater opportunities for networking, mentoring, collaboration, community outreach, career development, leadership training and cultural exchanges. Learn more about our ERGs here.

Teva is proud to support the passage of the Equality Act, federal legislation that would provide the same protections to LGBTQ people as other protected groups and prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in employment. Mansfield Rule Certification

Teva is proud to announce that we have achieved Mansfield Rule:  Legal Department Edition 2.0 Certification, a 24-month initiative powered by DiversityLab. This certification demonstrates that our US legal department took deliberate steps to expand the slate of diverse talent considered for leadership positions within our organization.

Mansfield aims to increase and sustain diversity in leadership within legal departments by broadening the pool of women lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, lawyers with disabilities, and underrepresented racial and/or ethnic lawyers who are considered for senior and top attorney job openings, discretionary high visibility opportunities, and with our outside counsel representation.

Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health

In 2020 and 2021, Teva USA was awarded the Gold level of the Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America (MHA), the nation’s leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the overall health of Americans. This certification is a first-of-its-kind workplace mental health certification program from MHA that recognizes employers who strive to create mentally healthy workplaces for their employees. Teva is proud to be among the first organizations to be certified and to be recognized for our dedication to employee well-being. The Bell Seal recognizes employer advances in workplace mental health by evaluating Company policies and practices in five areas: workplace culture, health insurance and benefits, employee perks and programs, legal and ethical compliance, and leadership and community engagement.

Teva is proud to again be recognized as a “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion” by the Disability Equality Index® (DEI), the world’s most comprehensive benchmarking tool for the Fortune 1000 and Am Law 200[1] to measure disability workplace inclusion against competitors.
